WHAT DOES THE WORD CHAKRA MEAN? Chakra is a sanskrit word which means “WHEEL”. Think of the main chakras as spinning vortices of energy running along the spine. Chakras lie along the SUSHUMNA NADI- an energetic channel running from the base of the spine to the crown of the head. Chakras are the junctions through which our subtle body meets the realm of the physical body. These energetic wheels control the transformation of subtle energies from higher dimensions into physical energy. They are the centers of energetic transformation within our PHYSIOLOGY.

BALANCE IS ESSENTIAL
Everything that happens in the physical body first happens in the subtle body. This illuminates the MIND-BODY connection. When the chakras are clear and awakened, our MIND-BODY system becomes balanced. Clearly, when chakras become blocked, stuck, and off-balanced; our MIND-BODY system goes out of balance as well. When all the chakras are opened, we achieve an energetic harmony which results in an experience of greater peace, awareness, and well-being.
